About Us
CroosRoads Church began from a conversation between two men at the District office of the Wesleyan Church in Marion Indiana. This conversation stirred the heart of Pastor John Hannan and his wife Beth to start a new church within Union City just one block from the Indiana Ohio Stateline.
After about ten days of persistent prayer from the Hannan’s and many of their ministry partners they decided to accept the call to start a new church here in Union City. They then selected the name CrossRoads Church because their focus would be to serve families on both sides of the Stateline.
The first meeting took place in the home of the Hannan’s with about 16 present. The excitement of a new church coming to our community had everyone talking. We quickly outgrew the homes we were meeting in and transitioned to a local restaurant, another temporary location and then finally our current meeting place here on Pearl St. in the downtown area of Union City. After many planning meetings, strategy sessions and much preparation CrossRoads Church launched on September of 2019. During the Covid pandemic. We will soon be five years old! Wow!
CrossRoads Church holds its roots within the Global Wesleyan Church. The Wesleyan church headquarters is located in Fishers, Indiana and has more then 1600 churches world wide. Find more information about the Wesleyan Church here.
